That is wonderful that you will be teaching children to sew this summer! You did the right thing when you purchased the same machine for everyone. I am teaching my 11 year old granddaughter and her friend to sew. The girls have their own machines which are very different. Each having the same machine would make teaching so much easier. Incidentally, you got a great price on the machines. Best wishes!

Good for you........continuing the art we all love. I'm not even sure if sewing is in the school circiulums anymore???

always wanted to do that. Children are so much fun to teach! the price of the machines are fantastic. Good luck in your adventure.

Good for you, you got good prices on the machines. Your going to have so much fun. During deer season I taught my 16 yr old niece and my 12 yr old nephew to make a simple 4patch quilted wall hanging, They did great and loved doing it on my featherweight machines. I posted them in quilts made with vintage machines here on the board.
