I came home from work tonight and put a finished quilt in the washing machine, sewed some small pieces of a new project while waiting for the iron to warm up for another project I'm finishing. Wondering how many others multitask like this.

I think that is the norm for most quilters or we wouldn't get anything done.

If multi-tasking includes quilting, watching TV, and playing on the computer, then, yes - I multi-task! LOL!!!

Multi-tasking is a way of life not just when quilting.

I sew, machine embroider, and cook at the same time. I just go fron one to the other, machine embroidery is usually running because it goes by it's self, just change the thread.

I usually end up doing the laundry while sewing. Everything on the same level so I get more laundry done that way!

I sew fabric and my clothes at the same time! I'm a great multitasker!

Me too. Sometimes I even get a nap in there--all in this same chair.
