I did that last week with bow tucks, cut 11 of them. Today, most of them are halfway together. Goes so much faster! good idea to do that with quilt tops!

i spent the whole day making a mess! I took at this fabric, then that fabric, then another, and so on. I didn't put them away and I sewed almost nothing. The end result of all that work is simply a mess.

I had a good time making the mess, but cleaing it up tomorrow will not be nearly as much fun!

This is such a great idea. I am thinking of following your lead.

so glad you could spend time the way you want to. I think to myself today I will do some sewing or even organize my sewing room then DH comes along and says I nead this cut out or that cut out so there goes my day, When I say cut out I am talking about chipboard for the cat furniture, NOT my quilts, GRRR. LOL

You must have been so busy! I spent the day with my granddaughter that I don't see often and showing her how to make a quilt for her doll. She is 9 and learns quickly and is good

What a great day--to work and play in your fabric all day long. I'm sure you enjoyed yourself immensely.

I don't think I got any of that organizing DNA, but it is a really good idea!

What a great idea! I hate cutting and it would probably be better to do a BIG batch at a time and have more time later for the fun parts. Thanks for the tip :-)
