HI joanieu. I thank you so much. I still cant' figure out why you kept laughing so hysterically. It was fun. I have more chocolate when you visit again, next time to sew only. Did you finish the bottle of wine???? SO funny, your eyes lit up when I handed it to you.

Debbie you and joanieu have done so great already. I been following this thread since the start. what a big difference you've made already. I bought some of your scraps before and was very happy with them. anyone who buys from you will be happy with your scraps. This thread encuraged me to clean my fabric up.I don't have near what you do but it doesn't take much to make a big mess when you sew and don't clean up right after.I have a corner in a room so thank god it wasn't overwhelming. Thanks for the entertainment. and keep up the good work and good pictures. Mary

I do clean as I sew. DId you see the post where she puts those pices of fabric she cuts off while squaring up and makes the decorative balls and puts them in clear glass vases. What a fun idea. But I will have to control it because I can see thsoe balls filling my room like one of those kids "ball rooms they play in". Not good.

Wish I was closer, I'd help. (Spent 8 hours yesterday helping pack up a friends' parent's home since they went to assisted living. Vowed to clean my undies drawer out. How many pairs of undies does one really need???)
I just saw this post and am still laughing. My answer would be only one for emergencies. haaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaa.

< Besides, it is illegal to send the meds I really need thru the USPS. ROFL. >

Not really! Medco will ship 'em around for ya!

I, too, have been following your saga and am so proud (and jealous) of your progress. Wish I had half your energy :-)

It sure does look like you're getting a handle on it, and Joanniu should hire out, sounds like a fun day.

Organizing is a contagious proposition. Once you get the piles sorted and you start finding places for things, you'll see that things may work better if placed in another spot, so you'll start moving things around. Then you'll decide to wrap your fabrics so you can get more on the shelves, then you'll find you can maybe eliminate some shelving and make room for other equipment you've been dying to get. Oh...it just goes on and on. And it feels wonderful! Good job both of you!!

the only problem I see once my room was cleaned up and organized, I couldn't find a thing when I need it.
