Default Shadow trapunto question

I've seen this a lot lately and am interested in trying shadow trapunto.

So what is the basic process and a good book/video recommendation?

Our very own Geta wrote a book on the process and it is available for download for a nominal fee.

She does drop dead gorgeous work and I understand her instructions are thorough and easy to follow. If you google "shadow Trapunto tutorial" you will get tons of hits.

Geta's book is next on my wishlist. Her work is phenomenal.

I used Leah Day's process to learn this technique (she calls it "reverse shadow trapunto" as she does the trapunto slightly differently). She outlines the procedure in her Winter Wonderland pattern- available here: http://www.daystyledesigns.com/rever...owtrapunto.htm

This is the book I've purchased, it also comes with a DVD. I've not read the other two books mentioned, I'm sure they are basically the same concept. http://softexpressions.com/software/books/Whitework.php
This is Karen Mctavish's method and theres tons of examples.

I have some trapunto book and love them. ( Exploring Machine Trapunto By Hari Walner) (Trapunto By Machine By Hari Walner) & ( The Secrets of Elemental Quilting By Karen McTavish). I have learned alot from this books. They give you step by step lessons. They also have alot of patterns in them. The last book has a cd in it. I would love to buy geta's book but not paying that price yet

Someone posted picture of their trapunto blocks that they are doing. I believe she used the Winter Wonderland pattern and instructions from Leah Day's website.
