Thanks for your positive input. I also have one that I keep forgetting to use. I will also place it on top of my cutting table as a reminder.

As I mentioned before, I have one and use it all the time. What I don't understand is what's the benefit to having the other sizes? Mine is 12" and it fills my needs very well.
What more does the great big one do? Or for that matter the quarter inch one? If I'm missing something terrific, please tell me and I'll get whatever size you all think is the best, once I find a great sale that is.

In order to stop the slippage, which happens on lots of rulers, templates, I have little circles of self stick sandpaper type that I put on the backs....works well...I don't remember where I got them, but someone said the hardware stores sell sheets of self stick sandpaper....I will have to check that out as I am running out of sandy circles....

My LQS has them and they are very reasonable. They come on a little strip and I'll bet WalMart or JoAnns has them although I have never looked for them there.

Yes, Joann's has them. I get them there whenever I need them.

Instead of buying the sandpaper circles, I get sticky sandpaper at any hardware store (Harbor Frieght). I need it for one of my sanders anyway. You can get a very fine one which will grip. Cut out circles or squares or what every shape you want. Much cheaper than the "special" quilting circles and a sheet of this will last this side of forever!
