I've collected rocks too since I was a kid. I also have a NAF and play very very badly. I can only practise when I'm alone. I'm hoping that one day I'll be able to surprise my husband and play along with his guitar.

In addition to......I read, grow veggies and flowers (I'm a Master Gardener), build doll houses and miniature room boxes (1" to 12" scale), work jigsaws, crosswords and really anything that catches my fancy. Since I am an only child and both parents worked, I had lots of free time on my hands. I've always been a very curious person so any craft that came down the pike, I tried. I also crochet, knit and do cross stitch but not as much as I used to. I have four sons that were into drag racing and motorcross so took tons of pics. Still do since I have added seven grands and four great-grands. I am never bored or at a loss for something to do. I don't do housework anymore than I have to.

I like to read, knit and crochet. I'd love to learn to knit socks but have come to the conclusion that I can't teach myself. There are parts of the instructions that I just don't get. I'm going to have to give in and have someone teach me. I'm so disappointed in myself!
