So it's not often that I get a chance to sew ALL DAY with no interruptions but it looks like Sunday will be that day. I have quite a few projects that are just about done and I don't know what to do. I was wondering if when you sew, you set a schedule for yourself, or do you just work on one thing until you find a good stopping point.

Anyone got any suggestions?

I usually work on one thing at a time. I just figure what needs to be finished first and start there. Good luck with your sewing day. With two babies they're not easy to come by, I know. I'd probably take a nap :)

I usually sew until I drop.
That's when I don't have other distractions going on.
Enjoy your time sewing and make sure you post pictures of what you have done!

I just start sewing. I need my dh to tell me when to eat and if I'm going to bed because I have to go to work the next day.

I've got lots of WIPs. But I always have to try something new. LOL. I have a few things that are just about done that I could actually try to finish. Probably my main goal is to finish a quilt I started for Devin's birthday (whichh was in June) so he'll quit taking my quilt to sleep with! Don't worry, I'll post pictures when I'm done. :)

No schedules for me! Many times I sew until I start making dumb mistakes & then I stop... LOL
Have a GREAT sew day!!

i think if it were me i would take a look at my WIPs and decide which one could be finished in the least amount of time and start work on that one. i always get really super motivated when i can actually finish something! then hang it up and admire it while you start on the next WIP!

have fun! sounds like a delightful day! don't forget to eat healthy, stay hydrated, and have some chocolate handy!

Thaat sounds like a good idea Patty (especially the part about the chocolate ;)) Thanks for reminding me too that I need to bring slippers or socks. It could be 90 degrees outside and my feet will be ice cubes in the basement where I'll be sewing.

I agree with fabricluvr ....I try to finish what I start but doesn't always work that way ...but have more done than not....I usually can't wait to finish...love that feeling of having something done....
