I just bought some at Walmart two days ago so I know that it still exists.

Have you tried using good old fashion vinegar? I had trouble with a fabric that was a bleeder and I used vinegar to set the color.. Works great and it's something you have on hand. Some one on this board recommended it. Has any one else use vinegar? Just remember you need to use at least a generous cup worth. Can't find these color catchers in Newfoundland either.

I hope they are not discontinued here in the states. I use them very frequently and give them out to customers. Next time I shop I will look and grab several more boxes if they are there.

They work much better than vinegar in my opinion. They grab floating color and keep it off other things where the vinegar just helps set color. My opinion only. I do keep both on hand as well as Retayne and Synthrapol.

I buy them all the time, going to WalMart later today and will check and see if they have some. Wonder why the delay ?

I was having the same problem finding Color Catchers at our local Save-On-Foods and Safeway. Guess where my DH found them - Zellers!!! He picked up 2 boxes, but if they are no longer making them I'll go back and grab a few more. Thanks, I didn't know

I live in Phoenix, AZ and see them at my local grocery store all the time. Never checked WalMart.

As a matter of fact, they have started advertising them more here.
