I think that all of us do this but I have found that by the time I have made the second mistake to walk away and have a cup of coffee then go back to it. usually thats all it takes. If I keep trying it just seems to get worse.

Maybe it's just me, but if I don't get adequate sleep, I screw up a lot. I just can't seem to concentrate on what I am doing, but try to do it anyway, and end up with many Grrrrr's! I have just learned to notice when I am too tired to do anything sewing related and stick with housework...blah.

Ugh...I hate when that happens! Breaks are definately needed - sometimes sooner than we realize! Better luck next time.

For me, after all that, I would have ripped and pressed what needed to be pressed then put it up for a day or two. When I was ready to try again everything would be ready to go and I wouldn't have to think about having to rip and press before I started in.

I've done similar things - very frustrating, isn't it? For me, setting it aside and getting away from it helps the most. But I have to rip it out first. Can't seem to let it sit there "done wrong". Have a good day.

I've had a good night's sleep and managed to get 3 rows put together correctly. I ran out of focus fabric so stopped before I messed up again. Will go back later. Thanks for letting me vent and offering suggestions and support.

I am working on the Hoopsisters mystery quilt. I made the first block and somehow the colors are wrong. I have not quilted in 2 days because I am mad at it.
