I have a "new to me" antique Singer 66 I purchased on E-Bay. I had to arrange to have it shipped from Wisconsin (it was my responsibility, not the sellers) during the shipping process the cover for the tension is missing (the dial with the numbers on it), I also can not adjust the tension without the dial...any suggestions?

Marie, did the seller indicate that it was missing in the description???
    I would contact them directly.

It should be fairly easy and inexpensive to get a replacement cover. Check with Billy.

I have my Mom's Singer 66, which she bought second hand after WWII. It never had a dial with numbers on it for tension. I adjust the tension through trial and error. Same thing with stitch length. It was quite a revelation when I bought a new electric machine -dials and electricity - who knew!

Here you go. I think it is rather nice, I can hardly wait to get this little tension issue taken care of so I can start sewing.
