Default Singer Quantum XL-6000

I have a Singer Quantum XL-6000 and it's terrific for sewing, but I have to start using it for embroidery (because I've sold my Brother Disney embroidery machine). I have the conversion tool to send the embroidery files to the machine, but it doesn't work on my Windows 7 computer. It only works on my old Windows XP laptop.
I don't have the PSW box and software to go with it, only the conversion software. Has anyone else every solve this problem?

There is a Yahoo group for this machine that you may want to join:
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/...L6000Club/info

It's probably best to set up a Yahoo ID first (free) as then you can access the group online, read all the old posts, search, etc. It looks as if the group is still active as the were about 150 posts in April and there are 580 members.

My best guess is that you need a computer capable of running XP. Some are still sold on eBay.

You can download 'Truesizer' from the Wilcom website - it's free - and you can open your designs in it and enlarge/reduce the sizes, also save in a format for most machines.

Thanks a lot! I've subscribed to the group and will check it out. I have a Windows XP and am just thinking ahead to when it doesn't work any more.
