Good Morning Everyone. I am looking for sites where I can order fabric at very reasonable prices or perhaps even get donated. This fabric will be used to make quilts for homeless and needy children. I'm new to buying material on-line, as I normally purchase it at my LQS. Thanks!

I second that. Also, there are many generous giving members on this board too. Tell us exactly what you are looking for and you may be surprised at the responses. I may have items I can donate-send me a PM with what you are looking for.

Goodwill and many re-sale shops are a good source. Online I like connecting threads, hancocks fabrics and a few of the others. If you hit the clearance and sale catagory sometimes you can get some really good prices.

Looking for anything, as the pattern this particular non-profit uses is strips put together for crib/lap-sized quilts. Need material for boys and girls from newborns to teens. Will be making a "quilt as you go" pattern.

fabric.com is a good/reasonable site to shop from and they frequently (almost always) offer a 15% off coupon.

It would be useful info if you will indicate that you will pay shipping cost for any donated fabric

Great idea! I'm disabled and need to watch my pennies and energy.

fabric.com

free shipping when you spend $35 and google for coupon codes there's always a code out there.

thousands of bolts

great prices but rarely a coupon, sometimes they have sales, and never free shipping.

quilt fabric closeouts

they have a sale every month, rarely free shipping or coupons

whittles fabric

great prices rarely free shipping or coupons

Thank you for your suggestions. I have been quilting for two years, so I don't have a stash built up or scraps.
