I know it sounds like an oximoron, but I want to do some small crazy quilting projects that would be nice practical gifts. I see lots of ideas for pincushions, hearts to hang on a Christmas tree, but i'm looking for other ideas. If you have pictures or links that would be suitable for CQ, will you send them my way. Thanks

Have you tried CQMagOnline? I have some of their projects in my folder, haven't tried any yet, but one of these days.

I have a book by "Barbara Randle's More Crazy Quilting with Attitude...it contains all kinds of projects; purses, (lots of different styles) garments, home decor (really cool lamp shades), just lots of different crazy quilt projects.
published by KP books, when i purchased it (2005) it was $23.99
it is like new, the binding is not even bent...would be willing to part with it if you would like to purchase it from me or make some sort of trade...let me know if you are interested...
you could pm me any details or what you would like.

Thanks. I live in Canada and shipping books in from the USA has gotten so expensive. I will look up the book online to have a look though. I have a number of CQ books, but they are mostly stitching techniques.

I've made cup cozies using a cardboard one that I picked up at Starbucks as a pattern for size. My friends really loved those.

OMG, I would have never thought of mittens. Cute Cute Cute. I like the cup cozie idea. I have a pattern for one of those. I thought of an eye glass case (for quilters reading glasses)

Thanks for all your ideas. I'd love to hear more.
