Could someone tell me the advantage over this new notion and a self threading needle? Seems to work the same way.

Didn't even know what Snagmagic was. Googled it. There are videos on Youtube.
I think I'll stick with the old fashioned way of burying my threads and I can
do it in a snap with a regular needle. A lot cheaper too.

I buy a pkg. of easy thread needles from Walmart to bury my thread ends. I think they are under $5 for 5?

This might be a new notion under that name, but F&P had them for sale years ago. Makes fast work of burying threads.
