i know I saw once a lady who posted a beautiful wall hanging she did in the snippets way. I was just curious if the snippets are simply fused on or if there is a different way they are done?
Thanks!

I posted a wall hanging (cowboys) using snippets.I used steam a seam (softer than wonderunder) to larger pieces of fabric, drew a design roughly on a piece of cotton fabric and snip over the fabric little pieces (like one small joint of your pinkie) and as you let them drop in place or move them in place with a tweezer you put a tiny pressure to hold them down. I did not iron until I was completely done. There is a good book showing you how to do this called Snippet Sensations by Cindy Walter. I got mine at the library. Some of the ideas in there are great some are.. mediocre but its fun and my kids played along making fish leaping out the water blocks for their rooms. I did not quilt mine purely snipped it. When framing you have to make sure there is space between the glass and the fabric so keep condensation should moisture get in from directly affecting the fabric. Good luck its super fun to do.
