Default So Proud of My Guild

I suggested to my guild that we send to the quilter's guild in the area of Henryville, IN quilts that we have made or are making. The sizes are baby and toddler, and "cot" size to twin. I am bowled over by the response! I send out the email to our general membership on Sunday as per my contact in Indiana the need is now and I didn't want to wait until the end of the month for our meeting. So far I have 10 quilts, will get 4+ tomorrow. I am ready to quilt mine and have a couple more to cut out. I have I don't know how many out there that are being made as I type. The guild in Indiana did not lose any of their members in the storms but members have suffered severe damage to complete loss of their property and have family members who have suffered the same. In fact one of their members lost a family member. I am shipping the 10 boxes on Monday and more to follow. I am so proud of my fellow guild members. Quilters are the best kind of people!

I belong to a quilt guild in central Indiana and we sent 50 childrens quilts to the Henryville area last week. We were so glad we could help.

I'm a member of the Sew-N-Tell Quilt Guild here in Clarksville, IN and I know that they'd greatly appreciate anyone willing to help with local families who were affected by the recent tornado in Henryville, IN. At the last guild meeting there were several who stood up and told about their online friends who wanted to help out in some way - I can't help but think that maybe you are one of them love2sew8085. All I know is that quilters are very generous people and that they never cease to amaze me! Thanks for all that you and your guild is doing to help those in need.
Love from Indiana! ~bonnie

I have heard about the Sew-N-Tell Quilt Guild. My contact is in Floyd's Knob....*trying to remember the name of her guild* Brain fart I guess. Too many quilt projects in my head! hehe. My guild has been so fabulous with their donations. I have probably 15-18 more quilts sitting here next to me in my sewing room that I need to get ready to ship. It has turned into a major happening here in my small town. Not as small as your towns but small for California and rural. I do not care for the city....yikes.
