The UPS guy just came to deliver my new sewing machine (xmas gift from hubby), but there were duty fees that could only be paid by cheque or credit card...well, hubby is at work and the cheque book and plastic are with him, I only have cash and my debit card for our joint account...I had to turn the man away and tell him I'd pick it up later at the depot. I closed the door and shed a few tears...I wanna play!!! :(

Will be worth the extra wait - then you can "play" twice" as much! Merry Christmas

That is true! On the bright side, my order from Connecting Threads came today and I didn't have to send that one away! :D I'll have to start cutting so I can start playing with the two of them together when I can pick up my machine!

Hard to believe it has come to a point where you can't pay with cash!! What is that about? Hope you get your new toy home soon!

Gosh -- sorry to hear that. But, check into your bank....I don't have credit cards and my debit card can be treated like a credit card....

Can't you run your debit card as a credit? Works for me. The credit union prefers that I use it that way.

I'm glad someone's order from Connecting Threads arrived. None of my cyber Monday purchases have arrived. Just an ebay purchase from Emerald City Fabrics in California. They are very prompt shippers.
