Our local hospice center is in need of small comfort pillows for their patients and they need them right away. That's all I am going to work on all weekend.

I am finished a braid quilt top and I am working on the backing that is scrappy and I am hoping I have enough of the material to get the backing done with the same material I used on the front.
We'll see... I needed a break so thought I'd come here..

Working on the next step for a mystery quilt from our guild. Can't wait to see it done.

Sunday I'm going to go buy fabric to make a binding for a quilt I started in 1992. It was half hand quilted when I started having problems with my neck and arm, and have never been able to finish it. A friend of my moms finished the quilting and I picked it up today. It's the second quilt I ever made but it's in the colors of my old furniture, light blue and mauve. But I will use it.
Just a few more UFO's to go.

I'm doing a D9P for a friend retiring in May. I have two friends retiring and need to get an early start to make sure I finish in plenty of time. Sometimes "Life" happens!

I am working on appliqueing a landscape quilt and going through my stash to gather fabrics to start a Grandmothers flower garden. I also hope to have time to do a bit of FMQ on a "fairy" crib quilt for my newest granddaughter.
