Is it ok to ask on here about a CD that came with my quilting machine and frame? It is software I don't really understand. It has quilt patterns on it. Thanks I can print these out for a pantogram if I like and that is about all I know about this. Thanks

I have a Juki TL98QE machine with the grace mini pinni frame. The Quilt Cad Quilting pattern software came with it. I was wondering if anyone has this and if they have been able to do anything with it and maybe tell me alittle about it. I am still learning all of this.
Also while I am asking How do you lay out your fabric when you cut 4 inch squares for the 9 patch? Thanks

Sorry can't help with the machine , but I just know others will jump in and help. As for the layout of the 4 inch squares for a nine patch, just whatever looks good to you. I sew 3 across together at a time, then join the rows. is that what you needed ?

That is what I have been doing too, It seems the cutting is what takes so long. Maybe I need a good cutting idea :-) . I can tell I love this quilting forum already because such nice people give good advice here. I appreciate each and everyone. HHHHUUUGGGSSS to all

When you cut out the squares are you cutting out strips of fabric ? Cut the whole length of the fabric the width you need and then cut the strips down to the size you need . Some can cut multiple layers at a time, I am not the good or confident so I just do one or two at a time  Otherwise I get wavy strips and no matter how hard I try I just can't seem to stop the waves
