Default Attaching yo yo's to quilt--help please!

May be a dumb question but I need some help, please.
I'm trying to make my first quilt using yo yo's for flowers. How do I sew them to the quilt?? Thanks!

I sew them down with a button in the center. I'm sure there are other ways.

Thanks! That's what I was thinking about....just wasn't sure if I had to tack them down around the edges or not.

I love using buttons in the middle of yo-yo's to sew in place....works great! If though you are making something that may need to be washed, you may wish to tack yo-yo in place around edges too.

A class I took several years ago, the instructor sewed the basted fabric circle to the quilt top and then gathered it. Something like that. It was really simple how she did it. I don't remember exactly how though.

Everyone, Thanks for your help!! I did sew the buttons on in the middle of some blocks & it came out pretty good.
I think I may tack the edges because I'm sure at some time I'll have to wash it.
Bellboo: I think I'll try that method on the next one. It sounds like that should keep the yo yo's in place & looking good after washing.
    Thanks, again!
