Default Solid fabric recommendation

I am looking for recommendations on solid fabrics. I have been using Kona cotton. However it seems to ravel . Anyone have any other recommendations? With lots of color choices?

I use Kona quite a bit but I am a prewasher. I think prewashing helps shrink and tighten up the weave so I don't experience any excessive unraveling. I also use Moda Bella solids which is the only other solid line I know of that comes in lots of color choices. I also prewash Moda and have not experienced any issues with it either.

I love Kona. I’ve also used the Moda solids, but, in my opinion, they’re thinner fabric. Craftsy has solids called Boundless. They seem similar to the Moda solids.

My new favorite solids brand is Confetti Cottons by Riley Blake. They are so soft after washing! Fat Quarter Shop has a great selection of solids. I also love the Art Gallery Pure Elements solids and Cotton Couture by Michael Miller.

I can highly recommend Dream Cotton that Marshalls Dry Goods sells. It is probably the same fabric as Moda Bella solids, as the are made at the same mill. Be sure you are buying Dream Cotton from Marshall’s. They sell other solids that are thinner....

I’ve heard great things about Paintbox Studio solids . A vast array of color choices, a luxurious feel, and excellent quality.

I agree that Kona seems to ravel easily. Moda Bella works well for me.

I love Bella Solids and my new favorite is Grunge, while it has texture it reads as a solid and it’s my new favorite.

I'm a Northcott Colorworks premium solid fan. It has additional threads in one direction. It is my go to solid. But it is hard to find.

My favorite is Michael Miller Cotton Couture solids. They have a higher thread count than others, and they are very soft.
