Default Some of the color spotted so here is what I did!

Made my SIL a beautiful pinwheel scrappy cuddle quilt! Well it is beautiful to me! The last step is to wash it, which I did and everything turned out beautiful except one spot bled though. About the size of a small apple. Just one. I used a color catcher and always have been happy with them. One spot, gee, so here is what I did. I took a heart applique and ironed it on the spot and stitched around it. Wrote on it 'made just for you'. While I was sewing on a quilt little strip Christmas quilt, I kepted thinking of that quilt and how it is not so perfect now. This poem came to me and I will place a nice old tag with the poem on it when I give it to her.
That is why she gets a quilt, she will love and appreciate all the work and that went in it! That is just her!

"She's not a perfect quilt,
she has a flaw or two.
But when you need some
warmth and love,
She will be there for you!

That will be true for all my quilts. Our instructor told us we could never create anything 100% faultless and that the odd mistake or oops gives it character. She is definitely not a member of the Quilt Police.
