I have bought some things online from Beverly's. Good prices and good service.

its a simple double Irish chain pattern , heres directions for a larger one.
http://www.how-to-quilt.com/patterns...rish-chain.pdf

my strips were cut 1.5 inches wide for a 5" finished block. I used reverse fabrics- green on white and white on green to make the chains. The shamrocks are simply cut out of a preprinted fabric or you can find one on the internet to trace and ironed on with wonder-under. the finished chain blocks are only 15 inches- 3 rows of 5 inch blocks and I added the 2 borders to make it about a 21 inch square wallhanging. Its easy to do, just need to follow the color placement directions. hope this helps . enjoy and Happy St Patrick's Day

Thank you! I plan to make a patriotic quilt and the Quilt of Valor will be perfect. I also plan on making a block to donate to Moda for the project.
