Default Spacing of quilting on Vlieseline 275/Vilene 275?

I've seen so many posts here about following the manufacturer's recommendations on density of quilting, but, here I am, with my information sheet for my cotton batting, and having also checked the website, and they say nothing at all about it!

Its 100% cotton. I have no idea whether it is needled, or scrimmed.....

What do you reckon?

Wow! I couldn't find anything on the internet either about how far apart quilting lines should be. You may need to contact the manufacturer directly.

I reckon quilting distance less than 4 inches. I have not used this brand but isn't cotton batt usually less than 4?

I guess i would treat it like any cotton batting with no scrim. I agree with Tartan, 4 inches should be good.

Thanks for that. To be honest, when the fabric shop gave me the sheet with it, I just assumed it would have that info. I only looked at it much later and saw how little useful information it contained.

It's a German product. I am challenging my stereotypes about German efficiency!

take ahold of an edge with both hands & give it a pull---does it easily separate? if so, quilt it 2-4"...if it does not (is dense-like warm & natural) you can go further apart.

Lol- update from the manufacturer in response to an emailed query is that the space 'can be greater than other quilting materials'. I did not make that up.
