I didn't click on the tutorial (at the bottom of the page) but this looks pretty good:
Edit: You can also search for Perkiomen 9-patch

I googled split 9 patch and came up with several links with a few different versions.

    Pattern: https://www.quilterscache.com/S/Spli...atchBlock.html and https://www.thesprucecrafts.com/spli...attern-2821853
    Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQmON1kDBvQ

    Hope this is helpful

I love the dark/light play and all the setting options for this pattern!

Teresa Down Under on YouTube is always posting Disappearing 9-Patch patterns. I like perusing her videos, but I find her music a little grating, and would recommend muting it (she doesn’t talk)

I don’t know how to make a link but I did a Google search and several free patterns came up with video by Jenny Doan first. Her's has a scalloped edge border and one by Jordan Fabrics has a mitered border .

I love the Split 9-Patch and have made a couple of quilts using it. Great for using up those odds & ends. This is my favorite as it has text And pictures on each step.
