Everyone talks abt using the spray...so What's wrong with the easy fusible batting? Seems it might work better with just ironing versus having to cover everything or take outside to spray...Need pros and cons

I love fusible batting. I use it on my QAYG blocks, quilted jackets, wall hangings and table runners. It is awesome for stitch and flip, because the strips don't move.
I don't use it for bigger quilts because I send out my quilts to be longarm quilted. But for smaller projects it is wonderful.

I've used both of those methods and I like them both. Most of the time for larger projects I have to pin baste using the tables at the library because I have no working floor space. For smaller projects I use the spray, only because I don't have any fusable handy to use. I went to look for some at Walmart where I live and that was a joke.

I didn't have the best of luck with the fusible batting, but it could have been just me.
I used it on a doll quilt and it kept coming loose. But I also starch my backing and that could have been why.
It would be awkard to get it ironed onto larger backings, so I am not sure if I would try it on larger items :D:D:D
