DonnaRae that is true. Like in my previous post just be able of your machines foot and the type of shank. If there is not a 1/4" foot for your machine or it is too expensive then see if there is an adapter and the buy the universal foot that fits that adapter.

Elizabeth A, Thanks for the link. This does look like the tool which I saw on America Sews.

Thanks Elizabeth. I checked both sites. The coupon was good until Jan 31, 2008. The other one was good through March 31, 2008, and could not be shipped - it had to be purchased at the dealer's store. I think this is pretty standard with Pfaff. The only way to save $$ is when someone sells theirs at a place like Ebay.

Thanks for such a quick answer - I LOVE this site where everyone tunes in everyday!

Granted this is sewing machines, but the %off seems to apply to the Fab-U-Motion as well... Based on what I've experienced the local dealers regularly mark off from MSRP. Seriously one sewing machine dealer told me they sell their machines locally 50% (it was more like 30%-50% but okay) and another dealer of the same machines says they take 25% off and literally gave me the MSRP prices as well as their in store prices, and all it cost me was time from one email and one local phone call. My guess is that is where my friend came up with the $300. Today and tomorrow is our "weekend" so all is quiet here (where did that man go???) so later this week I will try to reach my friend.

It's true - those machines have nearly the same snap on foot clamp - I've used other people's feet (on my machine, not to walk in my shoes!!), and they do work. I have a brother, my friend has a Kenmore.

Patrice: I ordered this foot and found that it fits both my Kenmore 19001 and Brother BC 1000. I've seen this style foot many times in catalogs, stores etc, but the snap-on section was never large enough for any of my machines before. This link has a lot to offer and the price was very reasonable. Thanks so much for the info.

I agree. I purchased the quarter inch foot for my Pfaff and love it. I also quilt in the ditch and don't think I could do it as well without this foot. Money well spent!
