I need ideas for table runners for round tables. I have a large round table (approx. 60") in my dining room and a smaller round one in my dinette. I'm in need of a pattern for either a round runner or an oval one. From what I understand, these would look best on the round tables, whereas, a rectangular runner looks best on a rectangular table. Anyone have any ideas on this?

Have you seen the odd shaped ones people have been posting pictures of? I cannot remember what they are called. They look almost like " ~ " I think they would work.

You are thinking of the 'spicy spiral' pattern.
