You come up with the BEST ideas!! That is adorable fabric too. I used to have some of that. Those are the happiest little leprechans, aren't they?! What kind of glue do you use? Hot glue?

I threw/dribbled a lot of tacky glue. Honestly, it took 5 mins & the girls will think I am a genius!

It helps if you have a box of those ring things. You think I should throw this clutter out. Then you think,. but I could do something with them!

So cute and very very quick!!
I have a very very old pincushion made from a jar ring that has rose velvet center with a ribbon around the jar ring itself. I found it in my d mil things when she passed. No one else in the family sews but me so I was fortunate to get it along with 2 crocheted ones.
I collect pincushions and love to see new ones.

And if you have the jars too, just think what you could pack in there. A little sewing kit with needles and spools of thread, some fun buttons, embroidery threads with a pair of snips, hand cream, even some small iron-on transfers or quilt templates (i.e., hexagon papers). What a fun gift for a fellow crafter.

For a non-crafting friend, you could include basic replacement buttons, thread, needles, needle threaders, iron-on patches, band-aids (you know they stab themselves!). Such a cute idea for a sewing first aid kit. Dotty, you always have the cutest ideas.
