It is a beautiful quilt , very bright and love the quilting around the shamrocks. Only word of caution would be to know the person well that you are giving it to because a quilt with that much great work should be used and appreciated. Combining St. Paddy and shamrocks with that much orange could be an issue.

That is an awesome quilt! I love shamrocks (it is a birthday tradition lol) ... I want to do an Irish chain someday!

I was just going to compliment her on combining the green and orange. Any time the two sides can get together peacefully is a good thing.

No worries. I am keeping this. The orange is is to honor the Irish flag but the orange has a whole other meaning to it for our family nothing associated with any controversies. By the way there is more then twice as much green in the quilt then there is orange. The picture is not necessarily true to color.

I did do the Shamrock all in one piece. It seemed easier.
