There's a book called Stars By Magic that I love. It has a lot of different stars and an unusual easy way to do them.

I recently made a star sampler, a picture is attached, my favorites were Carpenters Square, Twisting Star, and Ribbon Star...well I kinda like them all, but those were my favorites...

I made a star sampler quilt and just went through my 501 Blocks book and picked out blocks I liked...the hard part was narrowing it down to the number I needed!

I have fallen in love with the LeMoyne Star. I use Deb Tucker's Rapid Fire LeMoyne star ruler and it is so easy and they turn out perfect. With the one ruler, you can make starts from 3" to 12".

I just finished making the Snow Days quilt and I liked the Martha Washington star, made it in 3 sizes, 6,9 and 12 inches.
