I need to make (not need I want to) a queen size quilt for a bed in my summer house in the Hamptons. So I started out with 6 1/2 inch square and ended up with an 18 inch block, which I love. You have to understand I am not a pastel person this was very hard for me......will post when done. thanks for looking

I did a dp9 and thought it was ALOT of sewing; but liked the result. yous is a very pretty color. I then tried a split rail; now that was easy but if it had not been for the chain piecing I would've gotten board and quit. I really love the blue.

Pretty! I've never thought of doing a D9P with just two colors. Can't wait to see the finished quilt.
