Great colors! You did a fabulous job! How are you going to quilt it?

Thanks all! I'm really excited now. I was a bit discouraged last nite. The cutting took forever and when I realized I sewed a few pieces wrong, I called it a nite. I felt like a failure.

But I woke up this morning with a new sense of excitement and couldn't wait to get started on it again.

The BF has already requested that I make a denim quilt for him out of his old jeans (I swear the man has saved all his jeans going back to when he was in HS!)

Now i have to figure out how to rearrange my office/craft room so that I can put in a sewing table. Or at the very least, get a case for it. Pulling the machine in and out of the box everytime I want to sew is tedious. I want to do a little sewing now since the kids are in bed, but it's too much of a hassle.

I look back on my first quilts and I didn't have a clue - but I was happy with what I had accomplished. That't what this is about. We learn as we go and we have fun on the way. Just enjoy. I've only been quilting about 3 yrs and wish I had the time to do this for the last 50 yrs. enjoy!

I wouldn't worry about any mistakes you might find in your quilt. Everybody but one on this board has made mistakes sewing their quilts. That one person... well, he's special.

*L*

It looks fine. Take your time, it will all work out.
