    Default Starting EQ7

I rec'd the EQ7 from Eleanor Burns' sale today. I've been in a sewing/quilting slump so I was really looking forward to this. Well, it's here and I can't figure out how to do a darn thing. I've been reading and reading, but I'm more of a hands-on person. Can anyone who has one tell me where I should start or give any suggestions on learning to use it? I'd appreciate any help you can offer.

Go through the lessons in the software. They are excellent.

I started on page 1 of the manual. I too am hands-on and by following step by step it became very logical (after about the 3rd time). I still don't use mine to the fullest but can do the basics. I keep the manual with my laptop so I can refer to it any time.
Good luck--it's like anything else: the more you use it the easier it becomes. Just have a little patience, start at step 1, and repeat until it feels natural.

Watch the videos they will really help you. I am a teacher of EQ and I understand the problem. First learn the buttons. There are a few pages of them in the book. I teach buttons buttons where are my buttons. As you work remember to use the help button a lot. Everything in the manual is in the program in help. I am here to help if you need it! Luann

Her lessons have been very helpful to me! I understand completely what you are going through! I still have qualms about why I bought it. I hope I get enough use out of it, but right now, not thinking so. I think I jumped in too soon during Quilt in a Day's last sale. I am sure I just need more time spent on it with results.
