I even have lots of old jeans saved up for jean quilts. That would be part of my stash too.

Judy jeans are awsome for bags.
When used for a quilt there are some things you can do so you do not have heavy seams... mae blks and sash with a lighter fab...also if you just butt the pieces together on a base and use fancy stitches to bridge together works great too

Hi Klue,
Right. Same here. Other than 100% cotton for quilting, I collect silk, linnen's and wools. And same her a stash for tote bags and purses...

I love making one of a kind wearable art. Love to embelish and work with my felting machine...

Happy sewing to you

I sew practically everything I wear and I quilt.. I use cotton for quilts and all manner of other stuff for crafty projects. I used left over dress goods and knits and denim to make tents for my SS class kids. I guess I stash anything that looks interesting to me and I use my stash a lot. That does NOT mean I dont buy all the new fabric I can get to!!I may not live long enough to use it all up but I just LOVE to prowl thru it and buy more!!!!

I keep my 100% cotton stash separate from "the other" stash which includes who-knows-what. However, when we talk about "stash" on the QB, I think of my cotton fabric.
