When i practice FMQ The needle keeps falling out no matter how tight i put it in, am I moving the fabric to fast

hmmm... if you go slower does it stay in? I wonder if your screw is striped on your needle bar.

Do you tighten it with a screwdriver? If not, make sure you do as hand tightening is usually not sufficient. A bit of vibration and the needle may work loose. I always give mine a little extra with a screwdriver :)

you may end up having it checked if you can't solve the problem.

That shouldn't happen no matter how fast you go. I would have it checked if possible.

I think if you move the fabric too fast you would bend the needle instead of it falling out. Either it isn't as tight as you think, or there is a problem with the screw.

I think it must be a needle problem as well. If you go to fast while FMQ the needle will either bend or break....want to guess how I know this....LOL! Oh yeah...had to buy a whole new pack of needles since I started practicing :D
