Default Stitch In the Ditch Tool

Has anyone purchased the Stitch in the Ditch tool that Nancy Zieman has on her website? If so, does it work on a Viking? Her website says it does. Does it work?

Thanks, Tammy. Never heard of blind hem foot. I'll check it out. I saw Nancy Z use the foot on youtube also.

Hi

I have a Stitch in the Ditch Foot, which I am assuming is the tool on Nancy's Notions? I use this foot all the time, it has the little "blade" like piece on the bottom that goes in the ditch of the seam, works great for me. I use it on my Babylock Symphony and Elegante2.....the foot is by Alphasew that I have. Very similar to the blind hem foot, but the blade thing is in the center and sturdier than the blind hem blade...least on mine.

Sure if would work on any machine, mine isn't a Babylock foot, per say.

I have a viking and the foot I use for stitch in the ditch foot is the edge joining foot. It has a metal blade that rides in the seam.

I thought you needed to use your walking foot.

Thanks everyone for the info. I'll check the local Viking shop and see what feet they have.

Have never used this foot, but why should it not be used on seams which are pressed open? Thanks in advance for your reply!
