Stitch Regulator on Hinterberg Streatch Frame

I would like to mount a Grace SureStitch Regulator to my Hintergerg Stretch Frame, Grace says it will not work (they do have a Adapter Kit), Hinterberg says it will not work. I am guessing it’s because the SureStitch wheels need to be in a “track”? I am considering a new Brother or Juki but there is no need to purchase another machine if the SureStitch will not adapt to the Hinterberg Carriage. I am open to opinions & ideas for adding a Stitch Regulator on this Frame/Carriage.
