Red face Needle holder

Does anyone know of a tool to hold the machine needle so you can insert it into your sewing machine? Arthritis is making it a difficult job and pliers are hard to hold closed. Old age ain't fun!!!!!

I've seen a tool like that but can't remember where. Maybe at Nancy's Notions or Connecting Threads. Just wanted to let you know it is available. If I find it I'll pop back and let you know where.

Try wrapping a rubberband around the handles of the pliers to hold it closed for you.

Thanks for the quick replies--checked Nancy's Notions and afraid of the magnatized tool but did find what she calls a SUPER GRIPPER which I am going to try. Am also thinking of drilling a very small hole in a short piece of dowel rod (feeling cheap tonight !!!!)

I like that tool from Nancy's Notions. Think I will order it when the category comes. Thanks for the tips.

I would think that any sewing machine dealer would have them.

I use my hemostats for holding and grasping small objects. They are from the medical field but can now be found in quilt shops or in the fishing aisles for tieing flies. They look like long skinny, needle nose pliers but the lock closed around small objects.
