The joke used to be that who ever went first, me or my quilt buddy, the other would get their stuff. Now, my oldest granddaughter has become quite the quilter. The family knows that anything for quilting goes to her.

My DH will put a match in a burn barrel and that will be that!

Stuff goes to older DD first, sis in law second, sale at my church third. Hopefully they can hold the FIRESTARTER off.

I WILL MAKE MY DEMANDS BEYOND THE GRAVE.

I'd have to come back and hurt someone if hubby burns everything like he's like to.

I took everything my mother left that related to her quilting that I possibly could. Wish I could have taken it all!!!! I am trying to decide who gets what when I'm done here so that they won't be burdened with what to do with everything. Fortunately, I have one quilter in the family now and another crafter and perhaps a third, so I know the girls will take my sewing room and the other rooms as well. I just want to know that it is treasured after I'm gone because that is all that will be left!

My hubby knows what to do with the contents of my quilting room, as I have a few friends that quilt. Whatever they don't want (or have room for) goes to our guild to use for donation quilts.

I actually have a document as to who my kids are to consult as far as my quilting/sewing things. My best friend is my 'designated executor' for all those things. I even have a file on my computer for my kids to let them know who to contact and where various things are ... also instructions for my memorial service. Since my grown kids are in another state.

Heck, I even wrote down some of the things I have done in my life as there is a lot they still don't know.
