    i use lib copy machine
draw a box in the corner 1"x1"\
enlarge until the box is the size you want, then it's 1 1/2 x 1 1/2
go by 10% maybe at first
    good luck

If you are using a copier:

quick answer: If you want to enlarge something:

divide the larger number by the smaller number

and move the decimal two places to the right to get the percentage to use

Example: Block is 8 and you want to make it 8.5

    8.5/8 = 1.0625

Move the decimal two places to the right: 106%

You will probably have to settle for whole numbers on your copier.

If you want to reduce something, divide the smaller number by the larger number. (You will want a number less than 1)

who need that we would need equasions (spelling) and algebra in quilting. Never under estimate the power of getting great grades ion math. As you can see, some times just adding and subtracting isn't always the way to go. And thank you for the information. Ths is information that I think is worthy of being saved in a note book of information that I keep by my cutting table.
