That is awesome. My grandmother was an artist and painted and sold paints all over the western united states. I hope someday to find a few of her paintings. I am always looking at yard sale, thrift stores and etc. Glad you could be apart of his history.

Jacquie, I really enjoyed this story. Please don't stop putting these things on here when you have them. That's all our history. It's a small world isn't it? I just received 2 quilt tops from an aunt who had them for a long time. My Mother has passed, and one of the tops is before 1925 that her sister had hand pieced so I know it is at least 87 years old because the sister got killed in a tornado in 1925. Thanks

That is one of the best things I have heard of. So happy you are able to help bring back alittle of his family history. I am sure he will great appreciate what you did.
