While the internet has some dark places, it also joins people and history in ways both beautiful and fantastic. Thanks so much for posting your story.

Now that's a great story. So nice you still had some left to share with him. And what a reminder for us all: every little thing we do we should do well for the sake of the person at he other end, whether we meet them or not.

oh, these are amazing...they are of course TIN and have sandpaper on the back side to GRIP your fabric...just wonderful. I have two sets left, but they are for large blocks, the drunkards path and grandmother's fan!

That is amazing! I know that young man will be grateful to have the templates that his grandfather made. It was so nice of you the return them to him.
