Joyce Rowell, now that is different...took me a minute to figure out how it was a string quilt !! very nice and beautiful fabric....

Wow, they are all so pretty. Almost have my first string done. Sad story, used all my huge drawer full of flannel scraps, including several stray ends from bindings over the years. Then I decided to make it in the basket weave style, set on the diagonal, as seen in some to the tutes. So now I need 6 more squares. I went to Joann's yesterday and bought a few small amounts of flannel to blend. So much for using all my scraps

I made one a long time ago when I first started quilting. The edges are a bit wavy, but my granddaughter loved it. It's in my WebShots album and I'm going to try to post it from there.
