Default HMQS Home Machine Quilting Show -Salt Lake City

Can anyone give me an opinion on this annual quilt show in Utah? It's coming up in May and I'm thinking of driving down for it, register for some of the lectures etc. Your insight would be appreciated! Thanks!

I've been to it a couple times, and it IS worth the drive! It may be smaller than some shows, but the quality is there. There were quilts from some "big names" there. And the vendor mall is pretty good.

Take a class from Judi Madsen. Her quilting is incredible.

Well funny you should say that...I signed up for 5 out of 6 of her classes she is offering and the Trapunto one of Kim Brunner's. I'm really looking forward to it and plan to make the most of the trip! Yay!

I think you will have a good time. I have been the last two years, and I enjoyed myself a lot. Last year they had an incredible display of modern quilts that even my son's girlfriend from Norway (not a domestic type) just loved. I enjoy the vendor mall too.
