I feel like a dog!

I feel just like a dog chasing his tail..been going round and round for days trying to figure out what I want to do...I have a baby quilt for a gift I "need" to do but bored with..A owl quilt I started for DH I "need" to finish..another baby quilt I started just for fun..and another one I bought fabric for that I want to do.. So after sitting here for the last 2 1/2 hours I have decided I am going to finish the baby quilt that I "need" for a gift next month before I do anything else! I have just wore myself out just sitting thinking so much! LOL do ya'll ever get like this...

Hi Dianne,
I think we all go through that phase. Why else would we all have ufo's hidden away...I am as guilty as the next...too many irons in the fire to decide which one to grab!
Sounds like you were able to prioritize....good puppy...you feel me petting your head? ha ha ha

Good luck! I usually have 10+ different projects going on so that WHEN I get bored, I can do something else. Not sure why I have so many UFOs............
I try to tell myself that I enjoy finishing the project, otherwise I won't. Quilting should be fun, not a chore. I had a quilt to finish before a quilt show, and I spent about 48 hours straight working on it. By the time I was done, I hated that quilt. I don't like hating quilts... it makes me sad

Great suggestion to make some crumb blocks with scraps. I find sewing some string or scrappy log cabin blocks helps me to relax and return to the quilts that "need" finishing ASAP.

I was doing the same thing - it was driving me crazy! I finally made a list - and so far I am sticking to it! Not sure how long I can be so strict on myself.
I am in the process of piecing a Friendship Braid quilt that my DD wants for her 1st anniversay this summer - the FB is boring to piece so I 'force' myself to do 1 panel between each project. I should be able to finish it if I stick with this method. LOL
Sometimes I can't sleep at night with all the ideas of quilts and color combinations I want to do........ I wish I could make them as fast as I can dream them up.
