What a guy!! Sounds a lot like my Jim. It's always "whatever my little girl wants." Have fun with your new machine.

Congrats on your new machine and sweet hubby. They do have a sweet side sometimes, don't they?
My husband actually VOLUNTEERED to take me to Joanns last Sunday. When we got there all the fabric in the clearance was half off and they were pulling fabrics off the shelf right and left adding to the clearance section. Needless to say he got more than he bargained for, but he didn't complain. He sat down at the pattern book table and tried to convince the other ladies he was "pattern shopping". They didn't buy it, he was wolfing down candy and soda and keeping an eye on me. I'd go round to the table every little bit and say, "I'm about done" (LOL). I finally felt sorry for him and decided to call it a day. I guess I didn't really appreciate what he did for me until now.

You have him started down the right road, that's for sure. NOW -- get him hooked on quilting, and you can have all the fabric you want!!!! Trust me, it works. I got my Handsome Hubby hooked (used sports fabrics to do it), and now we shop for fabric together. He even takes his quilts to the fabric shops to show them off! The ladies LOVE it & Him!!! :-o I am VERY lucky!!!
