My sister in law and her family are currently stationed in Germany. They are looking at buying a house in our neighborhood! (they are retiring) We are helping them look. While they are over there, they have asked us to look at houses they have found on line. And going off our opino (yikes)Anyway, I am looking for a wall hanging. Like a Welcome Home or something inviting. I wanted to have it hanging when they come down and set foot in the house for the first time....
I have looked around and cant seem to find anything I like yet. Anyone have any ideas? Need somthing simple though lol

I think that considering that you guys are looking for houses - maybe make the happy scrappy houses http://www.quiltville.com/happyscrappyhouses.shtml
You can make it as big as you want - I made table runners with mine :)
Warning though - they are really really addicting to make!

I also didn't make mine wonky in the end since they didn't fit in the block nicely that way - I just did them straight across, with a tree between each one :)

I think any block that is a house would be a great idea :)

Look on this site: http://www.fatcatpatterns.com/Houses.html
Found this site earlier because of the Balitimore block question - I think I have to try them.

She has a lot of free ones
