A Round Robin is a type of group quilt. You begin with a group (I believe 4-6 per RR is a good number) of people who want to participate. Each person creates a center for their quilt and then mails it to the next person on the list. Each time a RR center is received, the recipient puts another border onto the center and mails it to the next person on the list. You always mail to the same person and receive from the same person. Eventually your center returns to you with a series of additional borders on it. It's really a neat way to make a quilt. There are something like 10 groups of IRR (International Round Robin) going on right now through this board. Check them out; some of the pieces are truly beautiful.

It sure does. Have you checked all the RRs that are currently going on here? Check the Member Swap section. I think there are 9 different groups active right now.

For me the challenge would be to work on someone's quilt where either the colors or the style are very different from my own. ...but it can be a great way to grow as well.

Some of the RR are worked on by 5+ other people before being returned to you, too!!!
You can set them up however you like :D:D:D
